福建省教师招聘考试网整理推荐:《A Taste of English Humor》

在高中英语《A Taste of English Humor》一课中主要需了解幽默的种类及无声幽默大师---卓别林。鼓励学生象卓别林一样在逆境中保持乐观积极向上的态度,那具体教案应该如何设计?福建省教师招聘考试网整理了该课教案,整理如下:

【Teaching aims】

Enable students to talk about some types of English humor and Chinese humor.

Enable students to learn what humor means and what is nonverbal humor.

【Difficult points】

1.Help students know the differences between English and Chinese in humor.

2.Divide the paragraphs and give the main ideas.and improve students’ reanding ability

【Teaching procedures】

Step I Check the Homework

1) Ask ss to show some funny stories they collected before class and ask some of them to analyze why it is funny.

2) Show one Chinese and another English humor ON PPT and let ss   find out the difference of their humor.

3) Among different types of humor, do you like the verbal ones or the non-verbal ones? Why?

Step II lead-in

Show the little tramp imagine of Charlie Chaplin and roundabout imagine of Mr. Bean ON PPT to arouse ss' interests.

Ask ss the following questions?

1) Do you like the acting of them? Who are they?

2) How much do you know about Chaplin?

3) Show part of the Gold Rush to ss FROM THE INTERNET
